Guided by award-winning artist Hayley Krüger, you’ll learn blending techniques and other acrylic methods to create your own stunning botanical artwork — all completed in one session.

Artist Profile - About your Tutor: Hayley Krüger is an award-winning acrylic artist based in Perth, known for her striking botanical paintings and luminous still life studies. Her work celebrates the joy in everyday moments through vivid depictions of Australian flora and still life, capturing the textures, colours, and light of the natural world.

Hayley’s paintings are held in private and corporate collections both in Australia and internationally. A passionate educator, she also runs workshops and painting retreats, inspiring others to explore creativity and connect with nature.

Designed to nurture your artistic spirit, this retreat offers a chance to slow down, paint, and reconnect—with nature, with others, and with your own creative soul. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, you’ll find space here to explore, experiment, and truly immerse yourself in the joy of painting.

A Gentle Flowing Experience

Arrive at the charming Greenhills Art Centre and settle into your cozy room in the historic country inn.

Breathe in the crisp country air, enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal, and meet your fellow artists in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Take a leisurely stroll through the surrounding landscape, where rolling fields and golden light set the tone for a peaceful, inspiring stay. Autumn brings its own quiet beauty—soft skies, textured foliage, and a sense of calm that invites creativity.

Each day unfolds naturally with a balance of guided painting sessions and personal creative time. Hayley will share her techniques for capturing the essence of nature’s forms and colours, guiding you through composition, colour mixing, and expressive brushwork.

There’s no rush—just time to explore, create, and enjoy the moment.

In between painting, there’s plenty to do in the historic inn—wander its character-filled spaces, enjoy artful conversations, or simply unwind with a cup of tea and a good book. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you are free to work at your own pace.
