Studio Days is booked as a complete four-week series. The fee includes all four sessions and the materials needed for our explorations.

I’m opening the doors to my home studio in Ellenbrook for something a little different this November.

Studio Days is a relaxed, small-group painting experience for beginners through to intermediate creatives who would love to learn, experiment and feel more confident in their painting.

Across four Friday mornings, we’ll gather around the studio table to explore colour, brushwork, light and shadow, composition and the many little decisions that help a painting come together.

Rather than following a set project or feeling the pressure to finish a painting each week, we’ll work through practical exercises, experiment with paint on different surfaces, and explore the questions that come up in your own creative practice.

With just four places available, there will be plenty of room to ask questions, try things out, share ideas and receive personal guidance in a welcoming, supportive environment.

There’s no pressure to get everything right, and no expectation to create a finished painting each week. This is about giving yourself time to learn, experiment and enjoy the process of becoming a more confident painter.

What we’ll explore

• Colour mixing, colour relationships and temperature

• Light, shadow and creating form

• Brushwork and paint handling

• Building a painting in layers

• Troubleshooting when a painting isn’t quite working

• Practical exercises and experimentation on different surfaces

The exact focus will respond to the group, so we can spend time on the things that matter most to you.

Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy

Payment

Full payment of $395 is required at the time of booking to secure your place in the four-week Studio Days series.

Cancellations and missed sessions

As Studio Days is an intimate experience limited to four participants, each place is reserved specifically for the person who books.

Bookings are non-refundable if you change your mind or are unable to attend. Missed sessions cannot ordinarily be refunded, credited or transferred to another date.

I understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If illness or an emergency prevents you from attending, please get in touch. I’m happy to consider the circumstances and discuss an appropriate solution on a case-by-case basis.

If a session needs to be cancelled

If I need to cancel a session, I will endeavour to arrange a suitable alternative. If I’m unable to provide the agreed service, I will offer an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
